top picks: chanel tribute 2013

Good evening to all you readers out there, the new Chanel Tribute Hit stores this week, and I'd just though I should show you my top picks from the selection of recreation we've been offered. My overall impression of the collection was somewhat mediocre, as most of the Stardoll-ian population expressed their pessimistic views when the spoilers first made their appearance. Yet when I took a deeper look, many of the pieces appealed to me, and being priced at somewhat high values, I spent more than I wish to admit on the pieces I picked out. In my personal view I find that as soon as Stardoll starts to stray away from the exact image of the piece being portrayed and spins off into it's own creative mess (we all remember that awkward two outfit Young Hollywood collection), things start to roll downhill.

1. Classic Chanel Tribute Blouse (20sd) - Just a gorgeous classic, the colors would match with anything from trousers to skirts; it is versatile and very beautiful indeed.

2.  Chanel Tribute Tweed Pants (22sd) - Now I'm usually not the one to leap for tight, fitting trousers with embellishment, but these totally caught my eye.  Being one of the more wearable and timeless pieces in the collection, it is definitely worth the price.

3. Pearl Tweed Jacket (30sd) - Very appropriate for the summertime, this loose, seemingly lightweight jacket is a perfect addition to the closet to simply throw over one's shoulder and add a classy pop of color.

4. Lavender Chanel Sandals (20sd) - Gorgeous. The stripes remind me of a sort of retro-ness.

5. Pearl Drop Dress (36sd) - This item would most likely be considered a splurge, but it lives up to it's price. The silhouette it gives your doll is amazing.
